Everyone enjoyed themselves at the wedding ceremony and also showed their dance moves. MS Dhoni also shook his legs to some groovy tunes with bride Anant Ambani. You can watch them dancing in the video below:
MS Dhoni was last seen on the field during IPL 2024 when he turned up for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who failed to reach the playoffs. Hardik Pandya was part of the Indian squad, which recently won the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Ishan Kishan has not played international cricket since last December, when he took a break, citing travel fatigue issues. He participated in IPL 2024 for MI but lost his central contract for not playing domestic games for his state side.
"I was scoring runs and then I found myself on the bench" - Ishan Kishan
During a recent conversation with Indian Express, Ishan Kishan opened up about the reasons for his decision to take a break from international cricket. He revealed that it was frustrating to lose out on a spot in the playing XI despite performing well and was then experiencing travel fatigue due to a busy schedule.
Kishan said:
"I was scoring runs and then I found myself on the bench. These things do happen in a team sport. But I experienced travel fatigue. It meant there was something wrong, I was not feeling well or right and so I decided to take a break. However, sadly, barring my family and few close people no one understood that."
He added:
"A sportsperson can deal with what people on the outside are saying. What stresses you out is how your parents are taking it. How they are dealing with it. When you get to know that they are equally affected, it hurts you, and kills you from inside. But at that point in time, my family members were very supportive. They backed me and my decisions. They understood that I was not feeling well. They understood my situation."
Kishan was not picked for the ongoing five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe and also for the 2024 T20 World Cup. He will be hoping to make international comeback soon.
