[Watch] MS Dhoni enjoys a bike ride in Ranchi
Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was recently spotted enjoying a bike ride in his hometown Ranchi. The legendary cricketer was last seen on the field in May earlier this year, representing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2024. After winning his fifth IPL trophy with CSK last year, Dhoni relinquished captaincy and handed over the reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Things did not go as planned for the franchise as they crashed out in the league stage and failed to reach the playoffs stage. Individually, MS Dhoni had a decent season as a finisher, playing mostly in the lower order. Across 14 games, he scored 161 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 220.55.
An X user shared a video on the social media platform to give fans the latest glimpse of Dhoni, enjoying his time away from the spotlight. In it, the former CSK captain could be seen driving one of his bikes on an empty road surrounded by trees.

"Mahi bhai loves songs" - Mohit Sharma reveals interesting things about MS Dhoni
Veteran Indian pacer Mohit Sharma recently revealed that MS Dhoni is a fan of legendary singer Kishore Kumar and his love for songs. During a conversation on YouTube channel 2 sloggers, Mohit narrated an anecdote about Dhoni and said:
"It was after a match in Kolkata. A few of our friends were there. Jassie Gill was also there. It was late at night and we started playing antakshari. We started with antakshari but after some time, everyone started singing their favorite songs. Mahi bhai loves songs and is a fan of Kishore Kumar."
About MS Dhoni's usage of the phone, Mohit further continued:
"It's not like he doesn't use the phone at all. If the phone is in front of him, he won't take it unless it's necessary. He plays his games on the iPad because he likes to play on a bigger screen. When he has to call someone or send a message, that's when he will start looking for his phone."
Mohit Sharma played 48 matches for CSK under MS Dhoni's captaincy during the last decade and picked up 58 wickets. He has been with the Gujarat Titans franchise for the last two IPL seasons.
