[Watch] MS Dhoni poses with his wife Sakshi in a stylish avatar at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding ceremony
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni recently posed stylishly at the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. The legendary wicketkeeper bid farewell to international cricket in 2020 but is still playing in the IPL. He handed over Chennai Super Kings' captaincy reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2024, indicating that his playing career is nearing its conclusion.
Dhoni played as a wicketkeeper and finisher this year and performed well, scoring 161 runs across 14 games at a magnificent strike rate of 220. It is unclear whether he will turn up again next year as there will be a mega auction before IPL 2025.
An Instagram page (viralbhayani) shared a video to give the cricket fans a latest glimpse of MS Dhoni off the field. In it, he could be seen in a stylish outfit and posing with his wife Sakshi, attending the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

"You continue to work on your variations" - Ravichandran Ashwin on MS Dhoni's advice to him
Veteran Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin recently opened up about the advice he received from MS Dhoni, which was the same as the one he received 15 years back during the early days of his career.
Speaking to Revsportz on the matter, Ashwin said:
"I met him in Dubai after a game between Delhi against CSK and I asked him, 'how you find it'. I have developed that back spin. He said, 'you are always like that. It has been your strength. Remember, you continue to be funky. Remember, you continue to work on your variations'. I was like, this was what he told me 15 years ago."
He also reminisced how Dhoni backed him to bowl in the powerplay against top international openers in his initial days in IPL 2010.
"He used me with the new ball inside the Powerplay against Adam Gilchrist and I got him out in Chennai. And he used me again in those same roles and continuously used me like that for several years to follow. He used me inside the batting Powerplay, even when I played for India. So, I think that is quite a fascinating sort of a belief that he had and he kept it very simple when he told me things," Ashwin added.
Ravichandran Ashwin was part of the CSK side that won the IPL in 2010 and 2011 and the Champions League in 2010 and 2014 under MS Dhoni's leadership.
