"It shows to other teams around the world that it is possible to beat India in India" - Tim Southee on New Zealand's historic Test series victory

Veteran pacer Tim Southee believes it is extremely tough to win an away series in India and Australia. He recently expressed his delight at New Zealand becoming the team to end India's unbeaten winning streak at home.

He suggested that the series victory would set an example for other teams, showing that it isn't impossible to beat India at home. Southee told Cricbuzz:

"I think if you look at it from my perspective and the cricket I've played in the past however many years, I think you look at India and Australia are the two places that are probably the most difficult to tour. But I think you look at this one in particular, 12 years, 18 series. It's nice to be that side that's broken that run. I guess it shows to other teams around the world that it is possible to beat India in India."

Southee has bagged three wickets across four innings so far in the ongoing series. He also chipped in with a crucial 65-run knock in the series opener in Bengaluru.
