Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali dismissed England batter Harry Brook LBW to secure his third wicket on Day 4 of their ongoing second Test on Friday, October 18. The match is being held at Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.
The dismissal happened on the third ball of the 20th over. Noman bowled a quicker delivery that skidded in with the arm. Brook went deep in his crease to play across the line but was struck on the back leg in front of the stumps, leading the umpire to raise his finger without hesitation. Brook reviewed the decision with DRS, but the ball-tracking confirmed three reds, concluding his innings.

The right-handed batter scored 16 runs off 21 balls, hitting one boundary. Brook’s wicket left England at 78 for five after 19.3 overs.
England in deep trouble on Day 4 of the second Test against Pakistan
Chasing a target of 297, England ended Day 3 at 36 for two, with Ollie Pope (21) and Joe Root (12) at the crease. Both openers, Ben Duckett (0) and Zak Crawley (3) fell cheaply.
Pakistan's bowlers continued to assert their dominance on Day 4, with Sajid Khan dismissing Pope for 22 in the second over of the morning session. Noman Ali then claimed the vital wicket of Joe Root (18), helping the hosts remove the overnight batters quickly.
Harry Brook, who scored a triple century in the first Test, was the next to fall for 16 runs, followed by keeper-batter Jamie Smith, who managed just six. At the time of writing, England were struggling at 111/6 after 25 overs, needing 186 runs to win, with Ben Stokes (25) and Brydon Carse (16) at the crease.
Earlier in the match, Agha Salman scored 63 runs, enabling the hosts to total 221 in their second innings and set England a target of 297.
