[Watch] Rachin Ravindra bowled by Washington Sundar yet again in 2nd IND vs NZ Test

New Zealand's in-form player Rachin Ravindra was outdone by Washington Sundar yet again in the second innings of the second Test against India at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The left-handed batter was castled for 65 runs in the first innings by the all-rounder in the first innings on Day 1.

The visitors had the task of building on their lead after skittling out India for 156 in the first innings. The lead soared to 180 when Ravindra came out to bat following Will Young's dismissal. The duo of Ravindra and Tom Latham played off the remainder of the session to reach Tea.

Ravindra, however, could only add a couple of runs to his score in the final session. Washington Sundar dismissed him in the second over after Tea with an arm ball that skidded off the surface.

The left-handed batter failed to deal with the pace of the delivery after rocking onto the backfoot to cut the ball. He failed to bring his bat down in time and saw his off-stump rattled by the same bowler again.

Have a look at the dismissal right here:

Washington Sundar is inching closer to a 10-wicket haul after picking up two wickets in the second innings so far. The all-rounder had finished with figures of 7-53 in the first innings.

Latham and Mitchell pile pressure on India after Rachin Ravindra's dismissal

New Zealand have come out with serious intent in the second innings to make the most of the mammoth lead they have attained. Skipper Tom Latham has led from the front after a poor tour so far. He now has Daryl Mitchell for company, and the duo are scoring at a brisk rate to take the lead past 200, with seven wickets in hand.

As of writing, New Zealand were comfortably placed at 106-3 after 25 overs. Latham was inching closer to his fifty while India were running out of answers.
