[Watch] 'RCB RCB' chants erupt at Chinnaswamy Stadium during IND A vs IND B Duleep Trophy 2024 match

Fans at M Chinnaswamy Stadium displayed their affection for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise with chants during the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B. Top-order batters Shubman Gill and Abhimanyu Easwaran are at the helm for the two teams.

During the play on day 3 (Saturday, September 7), fans decided to shower some love on their home IPL team. Loud RCB chants were heard at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. It is not the first occurrence, as the crowd at the stadium also chanted for their IPL franchise during many India matches at the venue over the years.

An X user gave a glimpse of the RCB fans chanting for their beloved franchise during the ongoing Duleep Trophy match. They shared a video on the social media platform.

India B takes a 240-run lead at the stumps on day 3 in Duleep Trophy 2024 match against India A

Abhimanyu Easwaran-led India B side ended with the upper hand after three days of play in the Duleep Trophy match against India A. They reached 150/6 and secured a lead of 240 runs with only a day left in the contest.

After a top-order collapse, Rishabh Pant (61) and Sarfaraz Khan (46) played counter-attacking knocks to resurrect their team's innings. Nitish Reddy (19) departed in the final over of the day, leaving Washington Sundar (6) at the crease.

India B batted first in the match after losing the toss. They made 321 in the first innings on the back of a marathon century from 19-year-old Musheer Khan (181). Pacer Navdeep Saini (56) supported him with a half-century in the lower order. Akash Deep scalped four wickets for India A side in the bowling department.

In reply, India A were bundled out for 231 in 72.4 overs, following a collective bowling effort from their opponents. Most of the batters got starts but none of them could go beyond 30s, which dented their team's chances of going past their opposition's total.
