[Watch] Rishabh Pant enjoys funny moment with Kuldeep Yadav in 2024 Duleep Trophy
Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav share a great camaraderie on and off the field. One such funny moment was put on display during the ongoing Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, September 7.
The incident took place when Kuldeep walked out to bat in the middle during the 56th over of India A’s innings. Pant tried to block his view as the duo shared a laugh.
Notably, the two players play for India and the same Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC).

Earlier this year, Kuldeep Yadav shared an even funnier moment with Rishabh Pant during IPL 2024. The left-arm wrist-spinner forced DC skipper Pant by making him do the DRS review signal against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Jos Buttler in Jaipur on March 28. The decision was reversed from not out by the on-field umpire to out by the TV umpire.

Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant flop in 2024 Duleep Trophy so far
Kuldeep Yadav and Rishabh Pant have failed to deliver with the bowl and bat, respectively, in the 2024 Duleep Trophy. Pant departed for just seven runs off 10 balls on his comeback to the longer format after December 2022. Meanwhile, Kuldeep managed a solitary wicket against India B. He, however, picked up the prized wicket of Musheer Khan (181 off 373), who failed to score his well-deserved double century.
Both Kuldeep and Pant will look to make amends in the second innings and the remaining fixtures ahead of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh. The series will kick start at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on September 19.
As far as the match is concerned, India B put up 321 in their first innings, thanks to a brilliant knock from Musheer Khan. Navdeep Navdeep Saini and Yashasvi Jaiswal also chipped in with 56 (144) and 30 (59), respectively.
Akash Deep emerged as the leading wicket-taker for India A, picking up four wickets, while Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan shared two apiece.
At the time of writing, India A were 208/7, with Tanush Kotian and Akash Deep at the crease. They are trailing by 113 runs.
