[Watch] Rishabh Pant hilariously pushes Khaleel Ahmed into a swimming pool

India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is one of the funniest players on and off the field and he recently proved that by pushing Khaleel Ahmed into a swimming pool during the 2024 T20 World Cup. Interestingly, Khaleel was fully clothed to enjoy the beach but Pant had other ideas. The speedster looked shocked before Pant returned to see him.

It's worth mentioning that Pant captains Khaleel at Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Watch the funny clip below:

On the professional front, Pant scored 171 runs in eight matches at a strike rate of 127.61 in the T20 World Cup. He, however, failed to deliver against Australia (15 in the Super-8), England (four in the semi-final), and South Africa (duck in the final). The 26-year-old has managed 1158 runs in 74 T20Is at a strike rate of 126.55, including three half-centuries.

Pant returned to the national side after a gap of 15 months following a breakthrough IPL 2024 season, where he amassed 446 runs in 13 games at a strike rate of 155.40, comprising three half-centuries.

He was rested alongside senior players for the recently concluded five-match T20I series in Zimbabwe. The Delhi batter might next be in action during the white-ball series in Sri Lanka, which starts with T20Is on July 27.

Khaleel Ahmed makes his T20I comeback after almost 5 years

Khaleel Ahmed, meanwhile, made his T20I comeback after nearly five years. The left-arm pacer bagged three wickets in as many games during the T20I series in Zimbabwe. The Men in Blue won the series 4-1.

He, however, managed fewer wickets than Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan, who bagged eight and six wickets, respectively, in three games each.

Khaleel was also picked among the reserves alongside Rinku Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shubman Gill for the 2024 T20 World Cup. Notably, the 26-year-old had picked 17 wickets in 14 matches at an economy rate of 9.58 in IPL 2024.

He might be considered for the Sri Lanka series if senior bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj are rested for the T20I series.
