Riyan Parag couldn’t add much to his overnight score as Yash Dayal dismissed him for 30 in the fourth over of the first session on Day 3 of the Duleep Trophy match on Saturday, September 7. The match between India A and India B is being played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, September 7.
The dismissal came on the last ball of the 39th over. Left-arm seamer Dayal bowled a short-of-length delivery angling down the leg side. Parag tried to steer it but ended up getting a thick edge. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant swiftly moved to his left and executed a clean catch down the leg side.

Riyan Parag scored 30 runs from 64 balls, hitting four boundaries. His dismissal left India A at 145/3 after 39 overs.
India A loses two quick wickets on Day 3 of their Duleep Trophy match
At stumps on Day 2, India A were 134/2 after 35 overs, with KL Rahul (23* off 80 balls) and Riyan Parag (27* off 49 balls) at the crease. Earlier, openers Shubman Gill (25) and Mayank Agarwal got off to solid starts but were dismissed in quick succession by Navdeep Saini.
India A’s Day 3 began poorly, as Riyan Parag could only add three runs to his overnight score before being dismissed for 30 by Yash Dayal. Saini then claimed his third wicket of the match by removing wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel for two off 16 balls.
At the time of writing, India A were 161/4 after 45 overs, with KL Rahul (35*) and Shivam Dube (4*) in the middle.
Earlier in the match, Musheer Khan played a superb innings, scoring 181 runs off 373 balls with the aid of 16 boundaries and five sixes.
Navdeep Saini also made a significant contribution, scoring 56 and forming a massive 205-run partnership off 403 balls with Musheer for the eighth wicket. Yashasvi Jaiswal added 30 runs from 59 balls. Meanwhile, Akash Deep took four wickets for India A.
