Rohit Sharma completed a half-century in the India vs Pakistan 2023 World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14. His wife Ritika Sajdeh and Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma lauded the Indian skipper for his fantastic batting performance.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma started his 2023 World Cup campaign with a duck against Australia, but he returned to form with a swashbuckling ton against Afghanistan in the next match.
Sharma has continued his top form and completed a half-century in the ongoing battle against Pakistan. After the Indian captain touched the 50-run mark, his wife Ritika Sajdeh was delighted and applauded him. Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma was near Ritika. She could be seen clapping for Rohit as well.

The ICC uploaded a reel of Rohit completing his half-century on their Instagram profile. The reel has received more than 23,000 likes in just a few minutes. More than 200 fans have left a comment under the Instagram reel.

Sharma broke Sachin Tendulkar's record for the most World Cup hundreds with a ton against Afghanistan last Thursday. As of writing, he has an opportunity to record his eighth ton at the grand stage.
The Indian captain came out to open the innings with Shubman Gill. Rohit Sharma started well and played attacking shots straightaway. He raced to his half-century in just 36 balls, smashing three fours and four sixes.
Sharma started the innings with a four on the first ball bowled by Shaheen Afridi. He then hit Hasan Ali for two boundaries in the fourth over. In the sixth over, he hit a six off Shaheen, followed by a six against Mohammad Nawaz in the next over and two maximums off Haris Rauf's bowling in the eighth over.
