[Watch] Riyan Parag dismissed for 20 in the IND A vs IND D 2024 Duleep Trophy match
India A batter Riyan Parag was dismissed for 20 runs on Day 3 against India D in the ongoing 2024 Duleep Trophy match. The match is being played at the Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur.
The dismissal occurred in the last ball of the 69th over. Saurabh Kumar bowled a full-length delivery and the 24-year-old looked to smash his third maximum of the innings. Instead, the ball went up in the air and substitute fielder Aditya Thakare did well to settle under it and take the catch.

Riyan Parag returned with scores of 37 and 20 in the two innings, with many people having divided opinions over the intent he has shown.
India A well placed against India D at tea on Day 3
Winning the toss and bowling first, India D had a great start with the ball in hand as they managed to reduce India A to 93/5. Shams Mulani (89 off 187) and Tanush Kotian (53 off 80) convened in the middle and put on a partnership of 91 runs in the middle. India A managed to score 290 at the end of their first innings.
Mayank Agarwal led India A manage to strike back as they reduced India D to 96/5. Devdutt Padikkal (92 off 124) added the runs on the board while Harshit Rana (31 off 29) added some resistance in the lower order as India D crumbled to 183, trailing by 107.
India A made merry of competitions on Day 3 as Pratham Singh (122 off 189) scored his second first class century. At the fall of Parag's wicket, Shashwat Rawat walked out and scored a half-century as Tilak Varma scored his hundred.
At the time of writing India A are 380/3 and have declared, setting a target of 488 runs for India D.
