Rohit Sharma is likely to make himself available for India's upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka
Rohit Sharma could next be seen in action during India's upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. According to a report by The Indian Express, Sharma and Virat Kohli will feature in the 50-over matches of the tour.
The two Asian sides will compete in three T20Is and as many ODIs. It is set to be the first assignment of Team India's new head coach Gautam Gambhir. The report suggests that Gambhir has requested senior players like Sharma and Kohli to make themselves available for the Sri Lanka series, given that there aren't many ODIs on the road to the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
India's T20I and ODI squads for the Sri Lanka tour are expected to be announced on Thursday, July 18. The T20I series kicks off at Pallekele on July 27, while the ODI series will begin at Colombo on August 2.
