[Watch] Rohit Sharma frustrated with fielding effort as KL Rahul lets go easy catch in 2024 IND vs NZ 1st Test
India captain Rohit Sharma looked frustrated with the fielding effort as KL Rahul failed to judge an easy catch in the slips on Day 2 of the first Test against New Zealand at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru (Thursday, October 17). As a result, Latham got a lifeline on the score of 7.
The incident took place in the 13th over of New Zealand’s first innings. Siraj bowled a good length ball outside off and Latham got an outside edge that flew between the first and second slip.
The ball was closer to Rahul, who failed to show his presence of mind. It went for a boundary to add salt to the wounds and skipper Rohit understandably looked frustrated.
