[Watch] Rohit Sharma puts hand on his face after getting played on in most bizarre way possible in 2024 IND vs NZ 1st Test

India captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed in one of the most unusual manners against the run of play in the second innings of the ongoing first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru on Day 3 (Friday, October 18). The right-handed batter looked good for 52 runs off 62 balls before getting played on by Ajaz Patel.

The dismissal took place in the 22nd over of India’s second innings. Patel bowled a length delivery on off-stump and Rohit offered a defensive shot. But the ball ran off the face and crashed onto the stumps. Rohit was too late to react before putting his hand on his face and looking down on the way to the pavilion.
