Pakistan’s Sajid Khan is creating havoc with the ball against England during the first innings of the third and final Test in Rawalpindi. The off-spinner dismissed Harry Brook for just five runs off 14 balls. With his third dismissal, Sajid helped Pakistan reduce the visitors to 98/5 on Day 1 (Thursday, October 24).
The dismissal came in the 27th over of England’s first essay. Sajid bowled a length delivery on off-stump and Brook went for a sweep shot but got too far across the line. The ball went past him to crash onto the middle and leg stumps. The 31-year-old celebrated the wicket in his trademark style.

This was the third consecutive instance when a spinner dismissed Brook in the ongoing Test series after his 317 in the first match. He had managed nine and 16 in the second Test, where England lost by 152 runs.
Pakistan’s Sajid Khan and Noman Ali spin a web for England in 3rd Test
A clinical bowling display from Sajid Khan and Noman Ali helped Pakistan dominate England in the first session of Day 1 of the third Test. Sajid dismissed Ollie Pope, Joe Root, and Brook for single-digit scores. Noman, meanwhile, got rid of the openers Zak Crawley (29 off 43) and Ben Duckett (52 off 84).
At the time of writing, the visitors were 110/5 at Lunch, with skipper Ben Stokes and Jamie Smith at the crease. The duo are the last recognized batting pair.
Noman Ali and Sajid Khan picked up 11 and nine wickets, respectively, in the second Test as the Men in Green won their first home Test after a gap of 11 games. The duo will be keen to repeat their heroics as their side search for first home series win since 2020-21 when they won by a 2-0 margin against South Africa.
The three-match Test series between the two teams is evenly poised at 1-1. England won the opening game by an innings and 47 runs. They will be keen to win back-to-back Test series in Pakistan.
