[Watch] Sam Konstas hilariously mimics Virat Kohli's shoulder barge during crowd interaction on Day 2 of BGT 2024-25 4th Test
Australian debutant Sam Konstas hilariously mimicked Virat Kohli's shoulder barge on Day 2 of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Incidentally, Kohli shoulder-pushed the 19-year-old in between overs during the morning session of Day 1 while Konstas was hitting the Indian bowlers all over the park. The duo exchanged a few heated words before the umpires intervened to calm things down.
While Konstas seemed unfazed by the incident, Kohli's actions earned him severe criticism from former cricketers. The Australian media has also come down hard on the former Indian skipper, calling him a 'bully' and 'clown'.
Sam Konstas, a crowd favorite at the MCG with his actions, recently entertained fans by mimicking Virat Kohli's shoulder barge.

Konstas had a dream Test debut, scoring 60 off 65 balls, including six boundaries and a couple of maximums. He set the platform for the home side, who posted 474 runs in the first innings, riding on a century from Steve Smith.
Kohli, on the other hand, failed to convert the start after getting out for 36, edging once again to wicketkeeper Alex Carey.
India are currently reeling at 326/7 at Tea on Day 3, with Nitish Reddy (85*) and Washington Sundar (40*) closing in on the gap with Australia's total.

Speaking to 7Cricket at the end of Day 1's play, Konstas opened up on the much-debated incident. He played down the incident, saying that emotions got the better of both cricketers.
He said:
"I think emotions got over both of us. I didn't quite realize, I was doing my gloves and then there was a little shoulder charge. But it happens, it's cricket."
The International Cricket Council (ICC) handed Virat Kohli one demerit point and fined 20 percent of his match fees.
