Samit Dravid, son of former India coach Rahul Dravid, hit a spectacular six during the seventh match of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024 on Sunday, August 18. In the game held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Gulbarga Mystics won the toss and invited the Mysore Warriors to bat first.
The event took place on the second ball of the 10th over. Gulbarga Mystics' bowler, Praveen Dubey, delivered a googly on the off-stump. The right-handed batter remained at the crease and executed a spectacular inside-out shot, clearing the boundary towards the deep-cover area.

The 18-year-old played an impressive knock of 33 off 24 balls, hitting four boundaries and one maximum.
Karun Nair led the way for Mysore Warriors, helping them post a decent total on the board
Gulbarga Mystics captain Devdutt Padikkal won the toss and chose to bowl first. Mysore Warriors didn’t get off to an ideal start, losing both openers, SU Karthik (5) and Karthik CA (9), within the first four overs.
Captain Karun Nair and Samit Dravid put together an 83-run partnership for the third wicket in 49 balls before Dravid was dismissed for 33. Nair scored a brilliant half-century, smashing 66 off 35 balls, including eight fours and three sixes.
Jagadeesha Suchith was in excellent form for Mysore, scoring 40 off 13 balls before rain halted play. The left-handed batter was dismissed on the first ball (18.4) after the game resumed. The Warriors finished at 196-8 in their allotted 20 overs.
Monish Reddy, Prithviraj Shekhawat, and Yashovardhan Parantap each bagged two wickets for Gulbarga.
Devdutt Padikkal’s side will be looking to win their first game of the season. The left-handed batter will aim to lead from the front as Gulbarga have lost both their matches in the tournament. On the other hand, Mysore have won one and lost one.
