Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson smashed a six to reach his half-century in the third T20I against Bangladesh. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad is the venue for the third game of the three-match T20I series.
After getting starts but not being able to convert them in the first couple of games, Samson walked out to bat and opened the innings alongside Abhishek Sharma. Despite losing his partner early, the Kerala-born cricketer continued his onslaught and dealt in boundaries.
Samson was on 37 when he hit consecutive boundaries against Rishad Hossain and raced to 45 runs off 21 balls. He then smashed a maximum off the third ball of the seventh over to get to his landmark.

Suryakumar Yadav and India won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the series finale. They lost an early wicket in the form of Abhishek Sharma (4 off 4) but Suryakumar Yadav and Sanju Samson have kept the flow of runs steady and have gone on a leather hunt against the Bangladeshi bowlers.
Both of them showed their wide repertoire of shots, with Team India reaching 152/1 after 10 overs. At the time of writing, India have scored 190/1 in 13 overs
Team India have an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three match T20I series. The hosts won the first game by seven wickets in Gwalior before defending a score of 222 in Delhi. They will be looking to clean sweep the series and complete a whitewash across formats.
