[Watch] School girl imitates Jasprit Bumrah's bowling action; goes viral on the internet

A video of a young school girl pulling off Team India's pace superstar Jasprit Bumrah's unique bowling action has taken the internet by storm. The girl is seen knocking a batter's off stump in the clip.

Bumrah has been a household name and a sensation in the world of cricket. The pacer, since making his national debut back in 2016, has always drawn people's attention. Many people drew comparisons with Lasith Malinga, because of the 30-year-old's unorthodox action. With lethal yorkers and a plethora of variations, he has been Team India's premier fast bowler, leading the pace attack across formats. He has been an inspiration for many, with some even trying to imitate the pacer's unique action.

Once such instance came to light on Saturday. The video is captioned:

Jasprit Bumrah was last seen in action at the 2024 T20 World Cup

Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah last represented the Men In Blue in their victorious campaign at the 2024 T20 World Cup, held in the USA and the West Indies.

He played a starring role as he picked up 15 wickets across 8 games and was the tournament's third highest wicket-taker behind compatriot Arshdeep Singh and Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi. For his impactful contributions, he was named the Player of the Tournament.

Since then, the 30-year-old has been out of action, having been rested for the Sri Lanka tour. He doesn't feature in any of the Duleep Trophy squads either and is also reported to miss the Bangladesh Test series that begins on September 19.
