[Watch] Shikhar Dhawan dances with Bollywood stars at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding ceremony

Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was seen dancing with Bollywood stars Ananya Pandey, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding celebration on Friday, July 12. Prominent figures from all around the world attended the event, which was held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

Dhawan last donned Indian colors in an ODI series against Bangladesh in 2022. He was not selected for the 2023 ODI World Cup, in which the Men in Blue lost in the final against Australia.

The southpaw was last seen in action during the 2024 IPL. However, his tournament was cut short to only five games, as he remained on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury. He scored 152 runs in five innings at an average of 30.4.

The left-handed batter is frequently spotted at events, and during the wedding ceremony, he appeared joyful and had a great time dancing with Bollywood stars. Here’s the video of the stars dancing at the wedding ceremony:

Earlier this year, Shikhar Dhawan opened up about his career and retirement plans in an interview with ANI.

"I am also going through a transition 'Jahan Meri Cricket Vishram Pe Aayegi' (Where my cricket will arrive at a resting phase) and a new chapter in my life will start. You only have a certain age till you can play. It could be one year more, two years more, or xyz for me,” he said.

Shikhar Dhawan joins cricket fraternity in bidding farewell to James Anderson

For the last few days, all the limelight was on James Anderson, who played his last Test against the West Indies. The Test match got over within three days as Anderson bid farewell to the game on Friday, July 12.

Shikhar Dhawan lauded the England pacer and wrote on X:

“Wishing @jimmy9 all the best in your retirement from Test Cricket. Your amazing career and hard work have left a lasting legacy. Congratulations, and here’s to a wonderful future.”

In Test cricket, the England pacer retired as the third-highest wicket-taker (704).
