[Watch] Shreyas Iyer dismisses Mayank Agarwal with a caught and bowled with his first ball
India D and Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer rolled his arm over and picked up the wicket of counterpart Mayank Agarwal in the ongoing match against India A on Day 2 (Friday, September 13). The match is being played at the Rural Development Trust Stadium, Anantapur.
The dismissal occurred on the first ball of the 29th over. With stumps looming large, Iyer decided to roll his arm over. Mayank Agarwal looked to turn that towards square leg but got a leading edge and Iyer dived to his right to take the catch, helping India D pick up their first wicket of the innings and third of the day.

Mayank Agarwal was dismissed for a well-made 56 off 89 balls. With his wicket, India A ended the day on 115/1 after 29.1 overs. This was Iyer's fourth wicket in first-class cricket.
India A on top as the match against India D heads into Day 3
India D won the toss and asked India A to bat first. They reduced India A to 93/5 before Shams Mulani (89 off 187) and Tanush Kotian (53 off 80) managed to stretch the score to 290. Harshit Rana (4/51) and Vidhwath Kaverappa (2/30) were India D's best bowlers with the ball.
India A managed to do a better job with the ball in hand as they dismissed India D for 183. Much like India A, they were also reduced to 96/5. Devdutt Padikkal (92 off 124) managed to rescue them, with Harshit Rana (31 off 29) giving some finishing touches.
India A were back to bat and Pratham Singh (59 off 82) and Mayank Agarwal (56 off 89) stitched together a 115-run partnership before Shreyas Iyer picked up his first wicket of the game. At stumps, India A are on 115/1 and lead by 222 runs.
