Speaking about the experience of lending his voice to the Indian Spider-Man, Shubman Gill said:

"I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Since the movie will be debuting the Indian Spider-Man for the first time on screen, getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man in the Hindi and Punjabi versions was such a remarkable experience for me.
"I already feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie."

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be released in 10 different languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam on June 2 in theatres across India.

"It is important to not get carried away with what your partner is doing" - Shubman Gill after his unbeaten 94 vs LSG

Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Shubman Gill carried on his excellent batting form with a sparkling 94* from 51 deliveries against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 7.

He was involved in a match-winning partnership of 142 from 73 deliveries with wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha, who made 81 from 43 deliveries.

The pair helped carry the Titans to a daunting total of 227/2 in their 20 overs, which resulted in a comfortable 56-run victory for the table-toppers. Gill was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.

During the post-match presentation, the elegant right-hander credited the bowlers for pulling things back after LSG openers got them off to a solid start.

"They were going well in the powerplay but our bowlers bowled well especially Mohit bhai. They restrict their batting lineup to under 180 which was a great effort."

Gill also spoke highly of his opening partner Wriddhiman Saha.

"Just to be able to share his (Saha) experience, I stand next to him at slip, it is phenomenal with the way he keeps going, he's been playing since the first IPL season. I didn't get much to bat in the first few overs but it is important to not get carried away with what your partner is doing. I had not hit sixes in the last two matches and today I struck a few, I always keep working on my skills."

The victory helped GT tighten its grip at the top of the points table with eight wins from 11 games.

They will now travel to Mumbai to take on the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday, May 12.
