[WATCH] "Spinner pe tod diya tune" - Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh engage in a funny interaction ahead of KKR vs RCB IPL 2024 game

Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh had an amusing conversation during a training session ahead of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) game on Sunday (April 21).

The official Instagram account of KKR posted a funny reel on Sunday morning, which left fans in splits. The interaction revolved around Rinku informing Kohli that he had broken his bat against a spinner, which he had taken from him in the last game.

Here's the conversation:

Rinku Singh: Spinner pe toot gaya bat [I broke the bat (you gave) against a spinner]

Virat Kohli: Mera bat? [My bat?]

Rinku Singh: Yes

Virat Kohli: Spinner pe tod diya tune. Kaha se toota? [You broke it against a spinner? Where did you break it from?]

Rinku Singh: Yeh fat gaya pura idhar se [Pointing towards the toe of the bat].

Virat Kohli: Toh mai kya karu bhai [What should I do then?]

Rinku Singh: Kuch nahi, mai bata raha tha [I was just informing you]

Virat Kohli: Koi nahi, tune bata diya badiya hai. Mujhe information nahi chahiye. [No problem. Good that you told me. But I don't need information]

(Then, Rinku starts knocking the ball on Virat's bats)

Virat Kohli: Bekar bat hai [This bat is no good]

Rinku Singh: Toh bhej rahe ho aap [Are you sending one?]

Virat Kohli: Kisko bhej rahe ho [To whom am I sending?]

Rinku Singh:Lo yaar. Rakh lo [You can keep it (returns Virat's bats to him)]

Virat Kohli: Ek match pehle le gaya tu bat. 2 match mei tujhe 2 bat du. Teri wajah se na jo meri baad me haalat hoti hai na [You took a bat from me previously. Now you want second bat in second game? Because of you, I face consequences later]

Virat Kohli: Aap ki Kasam kha rha hun, fir nahi todunga bat [I swear on you, won't break the bat again. I can show you the broken bat]

IPL 2024: Can RCB get back on track against KKR?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are last on the points table with only a solitary victory in seven games. Although Virat Kohli is the orange cap holder with 361 runs, the bowling unit has failed to take enough wickets and is leaking runs consistently.

In their last game, RCB conceded the highest-ever IPL total of 287 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It will be interesting to see if Mohammed Siraj earns a comeback in this game to provide experience to the depleted bowling attack.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have done fairly well to secure four victories in six games. However, they faced a loss against Rajasthan Royals in their last outing, and will be itching to get back to winning ways against RCB.
