Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh extended special birthday wishes to Shubman Gill through Instagram. He turned 25 on Sunday, September 8.
Yuvraj shares a good relationship with the youngster, who hails from his home state. Shubman was in action on his birthday, leading the India A side against India B in Duleep Trophy 2024 match in Bengaluru.
Yuvraj Singh took to his official Instagram handle and posted a reel to wish Gill on the special occasion. The reel comprised a few memorable moments from Shubman Gill's career so far. It ends with an old dancing video of Gill from his younger days.

Shubman Gill-led India A suffered a 76-run loss against India B in Duleep Trophy 2024 match
Abhimanyu Easwaran-led India B beat the India A side by 76 runs in the first match of the Duleep Trophy 2024 on Sunday. India B batted first in the contest after losing the toss and managed to score 321 on the back of a marathon knock of 181 (373) from 19-year-old Musheer Khan.
India A then got all-out for 231, giving away a lead of 90 runs to the opposition team. Rishabh Pant (61) and Sarfaraz Khan (46) played an attacking brand of cricket in the second innings for India B to help them reach 184 and set a target of 275.
KL Rahul (57), Riyan Parag (31), and Akash Deep (43) performed well for India A in the final innings, but it was not enough as they got bundled out for 198 and lost the match by a comfortable margin. Shubman Gill got starts in both innings, scoring 25 (43) and 21 (35). However, he failed to convert them into substantial knocks, which hurt his team's chances.
Musheer Khan received the Player of the Match award for his stellar batting performance in the first innings of the contest.
