[Watch]"Suddenly the pitch is turning" - UPSC teacher's hilarious take on the pitch involving Rohit Sharma after 2nd IND vs SL ODI
In a video that has gone viral on social media, a UPSC teacher has praised Rohit Sharma's batting with a hilarious reference amidst the ongoing ODI series between India and Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue are trailing 1-0 in the series after the first match ended in a tie and Sri Lanka won the second game by 32 runs.
Rohit has been the shining light for the visitors with two half-centuries and 122 runs in the series. However, following the Indian skipper's dismissal in both games, their middle order collapsed.
Here's what the UPSC teacher hilariously said about Rohit's batting and the pitch:
"When Rohit Sharma bats, it seems like the pitch is easy for run-scoring. However, when other batters walk out to bat, suddenly the pitch is turning and is difficult. Can't understand how it is happening."

India have been getting off to great starts with their opening partnership contributing 75 runs and 97 runs in the first two ODIs, respectively. However, their middle-order performance has been ordinary.
"We weren't good enough" - Rohit Sharma
Indian captain Rohit Sharma accepted that the visitors were not good enough with the bat after the second ODI. In the post-match presentations, Rohit claimed there will be conversations around the approach of the Indian middle order in the middle overs.
"We weren't good enough. Don't want to look too much into how we played. But there'll be talks about our batting in the middle overs. When you lose a game, everything hurts. It's not just about those 10 overs. You have to play consistent cricket and we failed to do that today. Little disappointed but these things happen. You got to adapt what's in front of you," he stated.
Rohit also claimed that he wouldn't change his approach and the intent with which he has been batting.
