[Watch] Suresh Raina foxed by Ashley Nurse's off-spin, misses inside out shot to get stumped out in World Championship of Legends
Suresh Raina was famous for his inside-out shot over the off-side during his prime in the IPL. However, in the World Championship of Legends match against West Indies Champions, Raina lost his wicket while trying his trademark shot on July 5.
Batting against West Indies Champions' off-spinner Ashley Nurse, Raina danced down the track in the fifth over and tried to smash a boundary over the covers. However, Nurse's off-spin got the better of Raina, as he completely foxed the India Champions batter.
The ball went to wicketkeeper Chadwick Walton, who stumped out Suresh Raina while he was outside his crease. You can watch the video of the dismissal here:
Raina scored 19 runs off 12 balls before Nurse picked up his wicket. He ensured that India Champions recovered quickly after Samuel Badree sent Naman Ojha back to the pavilion for a duck. India scored 229/5 and won the match by 27 runs via D/L method eventually.
