Team India's T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav was part of Mumbai's playing XI in their recent fixture against the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) XI in the Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament. TNCA XI beat Mumbai by 286 runs to qualify for the semifinals.

Following the match, Suryakumar was seen interacting with young Tamil Nadu cricketers at the ground. The veteran batter seemed to share his knowledge and experience with the up-and-coming players.

Suryakumar failed to make a significant impact with the bat against TNCA XI. The swashbuckling batter got off to a start in Mumbai's first innings but could not convert it into a big score as he was dismissed for 30. Mumbai's batting let them down in the contest. The side were bundled out for 156 and 223.
