With the catch, Suryakumar also provided the first breakthrough for the Men in Blue. Das perished for 13 runs off 10 balls, including one four and a six.
The dismissal came in the fifth over of Bangladesh’s run chase. Hardik Pandya bowled a length ball outside off and Das only managed to chip it towards Suryakumar at square leg. The latter did well to come in from the ropes and then dived forward to complete the catch despite the wind blowing strongly.
