Members of the India 2024 T20 World Cup-winning squad - Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson - have joined the Men in Blue in Harare ahead of the third game against Zimbabwe. The two sides are set to face off in the third T20I of the ongoing five-match series on Wednesday (July 10).

The trio were initially supposed to play from the opening game, but their availability was in doubt due to the hurricane that delayed the return of the World Cup-winning Indian team from Barbados.

Subsequently, they took part in the victory parade and felicitation ceremony that was held in Mumbai on Thursday, July 4. Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and pacer Harshit Rana were roped in as replacements for the first two games. Now, the World Cup winners have joined the team ahead of the third game.

Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and keeper-batter Sanju Samson didn't play a single game in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, Shivam Dube featured in every match; he played an important knock of 27 runs off 16 balls in the final.
