[Watch] Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal trains hard in gym ahead of 2024/25 home season

Yashasvi Jaiswal on Friday, August 16 shared an Instagram video of himself working out in the gym. The Men in Blue opener was last seen in action during the three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka last month, where he scored 80 runs as India whitewashed the hosts.

The left-hander was also part of the team that lifted the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados. India defeated South Africa in the final under the leadership of Rohit Sharma to win their second title. However, the 22-year-old didn't play any match during the tournament and had to watch the proceedings from the dugout.

Jaiswal's next assignment is the Duleep Trophy, starting September 5. The young batter will play a crucial role in India's home season as the Men in Blue host Bangladesh followed by New Zealand. Later in the year, India will travel to Australia for a five-Test series.

As Jaiswal gears up for an important season, he was seen sweating it out in the gym. Here’s the video shared by him on Instagram:
