[Watch] This famous Bollywood actor is clueless about India's current cricket captain, doesn't know MS Dhoni's full name

In India, cricket is considered a religion and passion, among many other things, and more than just a sport. From politicians to businessmen and middle-class people to showbiz celebrities, the game of cricket enjoys the kind of craze that no other sport in the country does. However, versatile Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui definitely doesn't belong to the above category.

The Hindi movie star doesn't know who the current captain of the Indian cricket team is and has no idea about MS Dhoni's full name as well. In his own words, he has 'zero interest' in politics and cricket.

The critically acclaimed 50-year-old actor made the candid confession about his lack of interest in cricket and politics during his appearance on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube show 'Unplugged' a few weeks back. On Tuesday, July 23, Mishra shared a clip of Nawazuddin from the show in which he is seen admitting to his lack of cricketing knowledge.

Watch the video below:

While he was aware of Virat Kohli's surname, Nawazuddin said this when asked about who the present captain of the Indian team is:

"I don't know who the captain is currently. Maybe it's Virat Kohli."

Asked about Dhoni's full name, the actor responded with lack of certainty:

"Mahi." He went on to add, "I have zero interest in politics and cricket."

Nawazuddin is famous for his roles in movies like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Badlapur', 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Manjhi – The Mountain Man'. He also earned a lot of acclaim for his appearance in the famous web series 'Sacred Games'.
