[Watch] Tilak Varma's celebrations go viral after scoring his second ton in IND vs SA 2024 4th T20I

Team India batter Tilak Varma was fired up after reaching his second consecutive T20I century in the fourth and final T20I against South Africa. The Wanderers in Johannesburg hosted the clash on Friday, November 15. The left-handed batter received accolades from his dugout after the youngster jumped in delight as the same video emerged on social media.

The moment occurred in the 19th over of the innings as Tilak drilled one towards deep point and hurried for the second run. With the southpaw heading for the danger end, he put in a dive and was safe despite Heinrich Klaasen hitting the stumps. After jumping in delight, the 22-year-old roared a couple of times as the dugout was all smiles.

The Hyderabad-born cricketer became the second Indian batter and fifth overall to score back-to-back T20I centuries. After scoring his first T20I hundred off 51 balls, he consumed only 42 deliveries to get to his second.

After Suryakumar Yadav won the toss for the first time in the series and put South Africa into bat, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma started in scintillating fashion. The pair shared an opening stand of 73 before Abhishek perished for 36 off 18 deliveries. However, Tilak and Samson continued their onslaught, sparing none of South Africa's bowlers as Lutho Sipamla proved to be their only wicket-taker.

Samson, who had scored a hundred in the opening T20I in Durban, hammered the third ton of his career and did so in 51 deliveries. The partnership of 210 has also proved to be the highest partnership for the Men in Blue in T20Is.

The previous game at the Supersport Park in Centurion saw the visitors amass 219/6. After it seemed like the game was out of the home side's pocket, Marco Jansen's fiery half-century gave their side an outside chance. However, his efforts fell short as the Proteas eventually lost by 11 runs.
