[Watch] Tom Banton takes brilliant diving catch to dismiss Leus du Plooy in The Hundred
Tom Banton took a spectacular catch down the leg side to dismiss Leus du Plooy in The Hundred on Saturday, August 10. The Rose Bowl in Southampton is hosting the game between Trent Rockets and Southern Brave.
The dismissal took place off the 44th delivery of Southern Brave’s run-chase. John Turner bowled a length ball on the leg stump and Du Plooy tried to guide it down towards deep fine leg. The left-hander, however, played it too fine and wicket-keeper Banton put in a desperate dive to complete a sharp catch. The bowler and batter came up with contrasting reactions to the grab.
