[Watch] Tony de Zorzi copies Cole Palmer’s celebrations after maiden Test century in 2024 BAN vs SA 2nd Test
South Africa’s Tony de Zorzi copied Chelsea player Cole Palmer’s celebration after his maiden Test century against Bangladesh on Day 1 of the ongoing second Test in Chattogram on Tuesday, October 29. Zorzi reached the triple-figure mark in 146 deliveries.
Zorzi achieved the milestone in style by smashing a boundary off Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the 55th over of SA’s first innings. Miraz bowled a tossed-up delivery outside off and the left-handed batter took the aerial route wide of deep-square leg that resulted in a boundary. The 27-year-old celebrated by rubbing his biceps as he grinned while looking at his teammates in the dugout.
