[Watch] Usman Khawaja gives KL Rahul another life on 2 in BGT 2024-25 2nd Test

KL Rahul survived twice in the same over of Scott Boland on Day 1 of the second Test between India and Australia in Adelaide on Friday, December 6. The right-handed batter first was caught behind on a duck but survived because of a no-ball as the bowler overstepped. Usman Khawaja then dropped the 32-year-old in the first slip on just 2.

The incident took place in the eighth over of India’s first innings. Boland bowled a full-length ball around the fourth stump and Rahul was squared up while trying to defend from the crease. He found a thick edge that flew to Khawaja but the latter couldn’t get his hands on the ball. It was a tough catch in the first place.
