[Watch] Varun Chakaravarthy dismisses Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller in same over to derail Proteas chase in 1st SA vs IND T20I

Varun Chakaravarthy starred with the ball for India in the first T20I against South Africa at Kingsmead in Durban on Friday, November 8. He got rid of Heinrich Klaasen (25 off 22 balls) and David Miller (18 off 22 deliveries) to leave the hosts in a spot of bother at 87/5.

The dismissals came in the 12th over of Proteas’ run chase. Chakaravarthy bowled a slightly short length ball on the stumps and Klaasen sat back and tried to pull. The ball hurried on him and he ended up playing it straight down the throat of Axar Patel at long on. The wicket came off the next delivery after Klassen slammed Varun for a six towards mid-wicket.

In the same over, the leg spinner bowled another short length delivery angling into the pads. Miller tried to play a long six but ended up miscuing it straight to Avesh Khan at deep square leg.
