A video of MS Dhoni, wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva's adorable interaction with a little girl on a flight is going viral on social media. In the clip, Sakshi is seen trying to chat with the girl who seems nervous. Dhoni and Ziva are also seen smiling and trying to make her comfortable.
The girl's mother, Nethra Gowda, shared details of the endearing interaction featuring her daughter and the Dhoni family on Instagram. Describing the moment as a dream come true for her husband and the best birthday gift for her daughter, she went on to praise Sakshi for her humble nature.
"Yesss we met MS Dhoni sir while travelling in flight, but it’s a dream come true moment for my husband, and we got best gift on my daughter 4th year birthday, and Sakshi mam was so humble. She spoke to us like we are close to them. Such a down to earth family," Nethra wrote in her social media post.
She added that her daughter was slightly hesitant to go near Dhoni because he was wearing a mask, but Sakshi continued entertaining her.
"My daughter was bit scared to go and sit with MS Dhoni sir bcz sir was wearing mask and sakshi mam was like he is very scary n he scares me also, so she is not going to him. We r the luckiest, and my daughter is so lucky and blessed. Thank you @mahi7781 sir," the post said [sic].

MS Dhoni has been retained as an uncapped player by CSK for IPL 2025
The suspense over Dhoni availability for IPL 2025 officially ended when he was retained by Chennai Super Kings as an uncapped player for ₹4 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. As per the BCCI's revised rules for IPL 2025-2027, any Indian player who hasn't played international cricket for five years and doesn't have a central contract qualifies as an uncapped player.
Apart from Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings retained opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for ₹18 crore each, young Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana for ₹13 crore and batting all-rounder Shivam Dube for ₹12 crore. The IPL 2025 mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
