Former Indian captain Virat Kohli arrived in Mumbai from London ahead of the Test series against New Zealand, which begins on Wednesday, October 16, in Bengaluru. The 35-year-old paused to pose for the paparazzi before continuing on his way.
Meanwhile, the second match of the series will take place in Pune, starting October 24, followed by the series finale in Mumbai, beginning on November 1. Afterward, Kohli will return to the field for the highly anticipated Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.

Kohli's most recent appearance was in India’s two-match Test series against Bangladesh, where the hosts claimed a decisive 280-run victory in the first match. However, the right-handed batter struggled, managing only 6 and 17 runs in his two innings.
The Delhi-born player bounced back in the second match, scoring a brisk 47 runs off 35 balls in the first innings. He finished the second innings unbeaten on 29 off 37 balls, leading India to a seven-wicket victory and a clean sweep over Bangladesh.
Virat Kohli has a solid record against New Zealand in Test cricket
Virat Kohli will aim to make an impact with his bat in the three-match Test series against New Zealand. The 35-year-old has a respectable record against the Kiwis, scoring 866 runs, including three centuries and as many fifties, at an average of 45.57, in 11 Tests.
The ace batter has played 115 Tests, scoring 8,947 runs at an average of 48.89, which includes 30 fifties and 29 centuries. Kohli is just 53 runs shy of becoming the fourth Indian to surpass the 9,000-run milestone in Test cricket.
At the top of the list is Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 15,921 runs. Former Indian coach Rahul Dravid ranks second with 13,265 runs, while Sunil Gavaskar holds the third spot with 10,122 runs.
