[Watch] Virat Kohli does the Bihu dance after grabbing Sadeera Samarawickrama's catch during India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI

Star Indian batter Virat Kohli did the Bihu dance after grabbing onto Sadeera Samarawickrama's catch in the ongoing second ODI between India and Sri Lanka is underway in Colombo on Sunday. Left-arm spinner Axar Patel got the important breakthrough for India.

Samarawickrama tried to smash Axar over the cow corner, but the wild hack across the line led to a top edge. Kohli backpedalled at short cover and completed a rather simple catch. He probably looked at Riyan Parag in the dugout and did the Bihu, an indigenous folk dance from Assam.

Here's the video of Virat Kohli doing the Bihu dance:

The pressure of dot balls was beginning to tell on Samarawickrama as he went for the hoik and had to depart for 14 runs off 21 balls. He was the fourth wicket to fall with 111 runs on the board in the 27th over.

India keep things in check with wickets at regular intervals

Sri Lanka once again won the toss and opted to bat first in the ODI series. However, they got off to the worst possible start as Mohammed Siraj dismissed Pathum Nissanka on the first ball. Kusal Mendis then steadied the Lankan ship alongside Avishka Fernando as the duo added 74 runs for the second wicket.

However, both the set batters were dismissed in quick succession as Washington Sundar sent back the duo on his back-to-back deliveries. Sadeera Samarawickrama then got together with skipper Charith Asalanka and formed a partnership that consolidated Sri Lanka's position.

However, just when they seemed set to break the shackles and up the ante, Samarawickrama lost his wicket. At the time of writing, the hosts were in an even bigger fix at 136-6 after 35 overs.

The Men in Blue will know they are in the game as the pitch is not turning as much as it did in the first ODI. They need to keep chipping away with wickets at regular intervals to ensure Sri Lanka don't post a challenging total.
