Virat Kohli looked in impressive touch with the bat in the IND vs BAN clash

Virat Kohli's batting form had come under the scanner following a string of poor performances in the group stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup. He scored a run-a-ball 24 in the team's first match of the Super 8 against Afghanistan.

The seasoned campaigner showed glimpses of fine form in the game against Bangladesh. Kohli played with a positive intent, looking to go after the bowlers. He scored 37 runs off 28 balls at a strike rate of 132.14, while hitting three sixes and a solitary four during his stay at the crease.

The 35-year-old was dismissed while trying to come down the track and hit an attacking shot off Tanzim Hasan Sakib's bowling. He was undone by the lack of pace and the ball ended up crashing onto the stumps.
