“It’s contributing to that good feel” - When Virat Kohli revealed his favorite singing artists
In an old interview, Virat Kohli said that he listens to several artists like Arijit Singh, Jagjit Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, Sanam, and Vishal Mishra, among others.
He said (via Geo TV) in 2023:
“I love his unplugged songs. He (one of his friends) was quite surprised at my playlist as it was vintage, including songs by Jagjit Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, and all the others that basically touch your heart.”
“Earlier I used to be in that space of where you know energy is buzzing all the time and you want that kick [of energy], there are times for that. I still listen to Punjabi music every now and then. But most of the time for me now, it’s contributing to that good feel when you are listening and someone is really singing good," he added.
On the professional front, Virat Kohli will be looking to deliver in the third Test after managing 1 and 17 in the second game, where New Zealand won by 113 runs. The right-handed batter has returned with scores of a duck and 70 in the opening match but India lost by eight wickets.
The ace batter got out to spinners on three out of four occasions to continue his dismal run against spin in Asia since 2021.
