Former Indian captain Virat Kohli and pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah engaged in a high-intensity net session as they prepare for the second (pink-ball) Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The visitors were exceptional in the first Test in Perth, securing a dominant 295-run victory.
Stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah led from the front, taking eight wickets in the match, which propeled him to the No. 1 spot in the ICC Men's Test bowling rankings. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli broke his run of form by scoring a century in the second innings, remaining unbeaten on 100 and marking his 30th Test century.
As the duo prepared for the second Test, they went head-to-head in a fiery net session. Star Sports India’s X account shared the video, captioning it:

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah has played eight Tests against Australia, all in Australia, where he has taken 40 wickets, including two five-wicket hauls. The 30-year-old pacer has played 41 Tests in total, claiming 181 wickets, with 11 five-wicket hauls.
