[Watch] Virat Kohli spotted at pedestrian crossing on the streets of London

Team India batter Virat Kohli was recently spotted at a pedestrian crossing in the streets of London in a video that went viral on Wednesday, August 14. The 35-year-old returned to London after the conclusion of the recent ODI series in Sri Lanka.

Kohli flew to London to join his family after India's 2024 T20 World Cup triumph and the subsequent celebrations in Mumbai. The champion batter was the Player of the Match in the final against South Africa for his well-paced 76.

Back to the video that has been doing the rounds on social media, Kohli could be seen waiting to cross the road in one of the streets of London as below:

Kohli has been in dismal form with the bat this year, averaging under 20 in 14 games across formats.

Despite the T20 World Cup final heroics, he struggled in the rest of the tournament and the poor form continued in the recent Sri Lankan ODIS. Kohli scored only 58 runs in the three matches at a paltry average of 19.33 and a strike rate of 84.05 with a highest score of only 24.

His horrific run played a key role in India's shocking 0-2 series defeat to Sri Lanka, their first bilateral ODI series loss against the Lankans since 1997.

Virat Kohli will not feature in the upcoming Duleep Trophy

After much of the reporting swirled around Virat Kohli's possible participation in the upcoming Duleep Trophy, the squads were finally announced on Wednesday, with the star batter skipping the tournament.

Kohli last played a red-ball domestic game in India way back in the 2012 Ranji Trophy season. The Duleep Trophy will played at Bengaluru and Anantapur from September 5 to 22 and several star Indian players like Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant will feature in Round 1 of the competition.

Meanwhile, Kohli will be in action next when India begins their two-Test series at home against Bangladesh with the first game in Chennai, starting September 19.
