[Watch] Virat Kohli teases Eden Gardens crowd by preparing to bowl in RCB vs KKR IPL 2024 match
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batting star Virat Kohli teased the crowd into thinking he was going to bowl against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in the ongoing IPL 2024 clash. The video of the same went viral on social media.
The video shows Kohli taking off his cap, warming up and taking the ball. However, shortly afterwards he gave a wry smile and put his orange cap back on, given he is currently the highest run-getter of the tournament.

The former RCB skipper has been in sublime form in the tournament, hammering 361 runs in seven innings, averaging over 70. The right-hander has hammered a couple of half-centuries and a century. Nevertheless, Kohli's strike rate has come under scrutiny on multiple occasions due to the team's below-par totals.
RCB make 3 changes as they elect to bowl first against the Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens
Meanwhile, the visiting side has triggered three changes as they are already in a must-win territory. They have dropped Vijaykumar Vyshak, Reece Topley and Saurav Chauhan for Mohammed Siraj, Cameron Green, and Karn Sharma.
RCB have won only one game out of seven, losing to the Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, SunRisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants.
Their only win came against the Punjab Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru. Although the Knight Riders are currently holding the third spot in the standings, there are concerns around their bowling unit. The two-time champions failed to defend a lofty 223 against the Royals in their previous match as Jos Buttler's epic 107* stunned them.
Despite that, Knight Riders skipper Shreyas Iyer revealed that they are playing the same side. With the SunRisers Hyderabad overtaking them in the points table with a win over the Delhi Capitals on Saturday, Kolkata will be keen to regain that spot.
