Sri Lanka captain Wanindu Hasaranga dismissed Bangladesh batter Towhid Hridoy LBW in the T20 World Cup 2024 game in Dallas on Saturday, June 8. Hasaranga had the last laugh but Litton Das did the damage with his hat-trick of sixes. The right-hander departed for 40 runs off 20 balls at a stunning strike rate of 200, hitting four sixes and a boundary.

The dismissal came in the 12th over of Bangladesh’s run chase. Hasaranga bowled a pitched-up delivery and Hridoy was beaten for an inside edge.
