Senior Team India batter Virat Kohli turned 36 on Tuesday, November 5. At an event on Thursday, he reacted to the same and cheekily commented that he is definitely older, but not exactly sure whether he is wiser.
The former India captain celebrated his birthday with wife Anushka Sharma and his two kids - Vamika and Akaay. It was a welcome change for the seasoned batter who struggled during the three-match Test series against New Zealand at home which India lost 3-0.
At an HSBC event in Mumbai, host Gaurav Kapur asked Kohli whether he is wiser having turned another year older. The star cricketer cheekily replied:
"Wiser toh pata nahi, older for sure. (Not sure about wiser...)"
The 36-year-old then went on to describe his latest birthday as the most chilled out one. The right-handed batter added:
"But yeah, probably the most chilled out birthday I have had in all these years - just with Anushka and our two kids at home. It was very relaxed and basically the birthday was for my daughter and son. It happens so when you have kids."
