[Watch] "You like to review for everything" - Stump mic catches Adam Zampa trolling Mohammad Rizwan over DRS in AUS vs PAK 2024 2nd ODI

Australian leg-break bowler Adam Zampa and Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter and skipper Mohammad Rizwan were involved in a hilarious dialogue during the ongoing ODI between Australia and Pakistan. The second match of the ODI series is being played at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide.

The incident occurred during the first innings of the Australian batting innings. On the fourth ball of the 34th over bowled by Naseem Shah, Zampa looked to take on the bowler and went for a big shot, but failed to connect. Rizwan and the Pakistan fielding unit went up in unison to appeal but the umpire shook his head.

As Rizwan went across to discuss with his teammates whether or not they should review the on-field umpire's decision, he asked Zampa the following question:

"Did you hear something?"

In reply, Zampa said:

"You are appealing for everything?"

Rizwan went on to counter-question him by asking:

"Should I take the review?"

Zampa told him to review it. Rizwan went to the third umpire, where it was found that Zampa did not make contact with the ball, and the on-field call stayed put.

Take a look at the encounter below:

After being asked to bat first in the second ODI, Australia were off to a poor start as they lost openers Matthew Short (19 off 15) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (13 off 10) early. Steven Smith (35 off 48) held the fort in the middle for a bit but lacked support from others as wickets kept falling at the other end, courtesy of 5/29 by Haris Rauf.

Adam Zampa was the last batter to be dismissed as hosts Australia were skittled for 163 in 35 overs. Australia have a 1-0 series lead after winning the first of the three ODIs at MCG by two wickets on November 4.
