“What r u smoking nowadays?” – Harbhajan Singh grills Pakistan’s X user for comparing MS Dhoni with Mohammad Rizwan
Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh came up with a blunt reply to a Pakistan X user for comparing legendary wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni with Mohammad Rizwan. Harbhajan pointed out Dhoni is too far ahead of Rizwan, who will also agree to his statement. The 44-year-old added that no one is above Dhoni, especially among wicketkeepers.
Harbhajan won the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2018 IPL trophies under Dhoni’s captaincy.
The Pakistani user wrote on X:
“MS Dhoni or Mohammad Rizwan? Who is better? Tell me honestly.”
Harbhajan Singh replied:
“What r u smoking nowadays ???? What a silly question to ask . Bhaiyo isko batao . DHONI bhut aage hai RIZWAN se Even if u will ask Rizwan he will give u an honest answer for this . I like Rizwan he is good player who always play with intent.. but this comparison is wrong. DHONI no 1 even today in world cricket . None better thn him behind stumps.”
Dhoni has 829 dismissals, including 195 stumpings and 634 catches, in 538 matches during his illustrious career. On the other hand, Rizwan has 204 dismissals in 206 games, including 17 stumpings and 184 catches.
On the batting front, Dhoni finished with 17,266 international runs with the help of 16 tons and 108 half-centuries. Meanwhile, Rizwan has 7017 runs, including six centuries and 51 fifties.

Harbhajan Singh further expressed his surprise at the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal, Abhishek Sharma (axed from T20Is), and Sanju Samson (ignored for ODIs) for the upcoming white-ball series in Sri Lanka.
The cricketer-turned-commentator wrote on X:
“Hard to understand why @yuzi_chahal @IamAbhiSharma4 @IamSanjuSamson are not part of the Indian Team for Sri Lanka.”
Abhishek Sharma recently scored a 47-ball century in Zimbabwe, while Sanju Samson smashed 108 in his last ODI innings in South Africa. Meanwhile, Chahal didn’t get a game at the 2024 T20 World Cup or the previous T20Is despite being India's leading wicket-taker in the shortest format.
