Ben Duckett starred with the bat for England on Day 2 (Wednesday, October 16) of the second Test against Pakistan in Multan. The left-handed batter scored 114 runs off 129 balls, comprising 16 boundaries. This was his fourth Test ton, second versus Pakistan.
The 29-year-old kept the scorecard ticking as wickets fell on the other end. During his knock, Duckett completed 2000 runs in Tests. He was eventually caught by Agha Salman at first slip off Sajid Khan.
Duckett has been a leading run-getter in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. The southpaw has amassed 1226 runs in 32 innings with the help of two tons and six half-centuries. He is only behind teammate Joe Root (1694 runs in 31 innings).
Duckett had earlier scored 84 off 75 deliveries in the first Test, where England beat Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs.

Ben Duckett scored a century but England suffered a batting collapse in their first innings against Pakistan on Day 2.
At the time of writing, the visitors were 226/6, with Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse at the crease. They have lost their last four wickets for 14 runs. Sajid Khan has been the leading wicket-taker for the Men in Green, picking up four scalps so far.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 366 in their first innings, courtesy of a century from Kamran Ghulam (118 off 224 balls). Saim Ayub and Mohammad Rizwan chipped in with 77 (160) and 41 (97), respectively. Jack Leach starred with the ball, picking up four wickets for England.
